EUROPEAN JUDGES GROUP FOR MEDIATION (GEMME)

GEMME is an association of general interest with the purpose of bringing together judges who use or wish to use recourse to alternative methods of dispute resolution. We consider that effective and peace inducing justice involves, among other requirements, promotion and development of these alternative methods, especially Court-connected mediation.
Currently, around 800 judges, magistrates and other professionals related to Court-connected mediation from most European countries are part of GEMME.
